LM School's flagship annual event dedicated to environmental awareness, conservation, and inspiring the next generation of eco-conscious citizens.
PNPL — Preserving Nature, Protecting Life — is LM School's annual social responsibility event, born from a deep commitment to environmental awareness and conservation.
Each year, PNPL brings together students from LM School and neighbouring schools for a day of meaningful action — through a community Marathon and a series of eco-themed contests that challenge young minds to think, create, and act for the planet.
PNPL is not just an event — it is a responsibility. It fosters a culture of environmental stewardship and inspires positive action for a greener, more sustainable future.

Raising awareness for a sustainable future
Three consecutive years of growing impact — for nature, for life.
LM School proudly hosted its inaugural PNPL event, marking a significant milestone in our commitment to environmental awareness and conservation. Participation was open to students from Grades 1 to 8. The event commenced with a spirited Marathon featuring four categories — 1K, 2K, 3K, and 4K — followed by eight engaging eco-themed contests attracting students from 28 schools.
The second edition of PNPL saw remarkable growth — nearly double the school participation from the inaugural year. Participation was expanded to LKG through Grade 10. The Marathon was updated to 1K, 2K, 3K, and 5K. A heartwarming addition was the 1K Walkathon — introduced at the request of Kindergarten parents who wanted to participate alongside their children, making it a truly family event.
The third edition continued the expanded format — LKG through Grade 10 — and introduced Tamilodu Vilaiyadu, a celebration of traditional Tamil games, deepening the event's connection to cultural roots. The popular 1K Walkathon for Kindergarten children and their parents returned, reinforcing PNPL as a true community and family event.
PNPL would not be possible without the generous support of our sponsors and the unwavering encouragement of parents, teachers, and the wider community. Every contribution — big or small — helps us inspire the next generation of environmental champions.
Your generous support makes PNPL a reality. Thank you for believing in this cause and investing in the future of our planet.
Your encouragement and participation — especially in the Walkathon — show our children that protecting nature is a family value.
To the 100+ schools who have joined us across three editions — your participation amplifies the message and grows the movement.
